Man Bhavan, near August Kranti Park, is the place flights to Nasik where Mahatma Gandhi used to put up on his visits to Bombay between 1917 and 1934. Now it has been turned into a museum which exhibits Mahatma’s life in picture. The close by Kamla Nehru Park on B.G. Kher Marg, offers fine views of the city. It was laid out in1952 in memory of Kamla Nehru the wife of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. A Boot House for children in the Park is its highlight Children love to climb and play in this Old Woman’ s shoe.
