It takes time to write articles, then write some more, create blogs, keep them current and give out advice on forums. An in-between way is to purchase at a one time cost, article submission software that speeds up that process, but still requires time in creating them. There are other services that help create backlinks for you that you pay a hefty monthly fee. So it all depends on how much time you have and what value you put on that time.
