Costs for Gas and Electricity

One of the things that I actually did not think about before taking the new flat I was going to be living in was what the utility prices were in the area. Because the place I am renting in is quite old their infrastructure is not exactly environmentally friendly. I end up paying a lot more in gas and electrcity then what I use to. Now I see that the difference I am saving in rent from my last place is being eaten up by the price of the utilities. Pretty soon I will have a hard time meeting the difference at all.
