Planning the Move

Packing up everything in your house or apartment takes some planning. All your moving supplies should be assembled in one place so you can take an inventory of the items. It is frustrating and wastes time to discover you have run out of packing tape or bubble wrap while in the middle of packing some important items. Start a pile of old newspapers because these make excellent wrappers for breakable item such as glasses and dishes. Items that are rarely used such as fine china should be packed first. Clothing that is out of season can also be packed early on to get them out of the way.
