This means in the US and in UK, households start decorating their houses with Christmas trees from early October but some people do not take Christmas trees home until second week of December. Then they decorate them and keep till the January 6 before removing them on that day. The tradition with Roman Catholic homes is to keep the tree until the end of December. In Australia the Christmas tree is taken into the house in early December.
