My Son is a Real Trooper

    December 28th, 2009 by admin

My son started having seizures in his senior  year of high school. It greatly surprised me because there is no history of anyone in our family having seizures. I think it upset me more than it did him. He was an athlete, therefore it was very important to find a medication that would lessen if not stop the episodes from happening. We found a medication that seemed to be working, but the side effects from depakote were causing him to be nauseous. But we soon learned it could be taken care of with the proper diet. He is now doing everything that a normal teenager does at his age.
