Helping a Co-worker

My computer is messed up again. It keeps freezing up on me when I try to use my digital camera software. I asked a co-worker about this last night and he said the first step I would need to do is to remove that software. If the problem still occurs, then other steps would need to be taken. I know how to remove software but anything other than that is completely beyond me. He said if that doesn’t work he can do a remote reboot computer and all it would involve me doing is giving him access to my system. He could handle it from there. I love having co-workers like this.
