80′s Rock Bands Have Successful Tour Season

This past summer was packed with 80’s rock bands on tour once again, to the screaming delight of music fans across the country and globally for that matter. Europe has never lost touch with this musical firestorm genre, which unfortunately waned into obscurity with US audiences for much of the 21st century. As more classic rock radio stations climb in the rankings, along with the popularity of virtual reality video games such as “Rock Band”, a resurgence of 80′s rock bands was felt in the summer concert season. Let’s hope for a new 80’s rock summer in 2010. I think we all could use a little more distorted and wailing guitar in our lives.
